FUNCTION OF DEANERY CENTER
To coordinate basic training programs for persons in the 27 Catholic parishes of Mercer and Auglaize counties which make up the St. Marys Deanery. The Center provides and coordinates Deanery activities, promoting communication and collaboration among the parishes, the various religious presences in our Deanery, and the Archdiocesan offices. The Deanery Center began in 1993 and the office is located within the St. Charles Center in a leased space and is funded by assessments to each of the Deanery parishes, program fees and donations.

FUNCTION OF BOARD
To provide direction to the St. Marys Deanery Center being mindful of the objectives of the Ministry 2010 plan and to keep our parishes ministerially complete and financially solvent.

FUNCTION OF THE BOARD MEMBERS
To act in an advisory capacity to the Director of the St. Marys Center serving as a liaison between their represented group and the Training Center
